James P. McCulley, M.D., F.A.C.S., is Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University and his degree in medicine from Washington University in St Louis, Missouri. Dr. McCulley later completed his residency in ophthalmology and specialty fellowship training in cornea and external disease at the world-renowned Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary of Harvard Medical School.
Dr. McCulley has been selected as one of the "Best Doctors in Dallas" by D Magazine and "Best Doctors in America." His honors include TCU Distinguished Alumni Award and the Senior Honor Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has also been selected as a Fellow to the prestigious American College of Surgeons.
